Alterations and additions to an existing cottage in the Naremburn Central Township Conservation Area, within Willoughby City Council.
This home is alterations and additions to an existing 1880's weatherboard cottage. A new master bedroom with ensuite, laundry and bathroom have been added at the back of the original cottage; and a new ground floor extension steps down at the rear and includes an open plan living, dining, kitchen and courtyard through the centre of the house. The project also includes a swimming pool, rear deck, rear shed and extensive landscaping to the property.
The entire project took 18 months from beginning to end. Contemporary Architecture was involved in all stages of the design, documentation, interior design and contract administration. The project was constructed by Forsite Constructions. Landscape design and construction was by Michael Bates of Bates Landscapes.
