Alterations and additions to an existing home within Willoughby City Council.
This home is an extensive refurbishment of an existing home that had undergone unattractive renovations during the 1960's. The brief was to therefore restore the home and include a first floor addition and rear ground floor extension.
On the ground floor, the master bedroom with robe and ensuite, formal lounge and study are situated at the front of the house; and an open plan living, dining, kitchen area are at the rear with laundry, bathroom and pantry located off the kitchen. On the upper level, three bedrooms and a bathroom are accommodated, with dormers to each room. A new carport, deck, grassed area and swimming pool was also included in the project.
Completed in 2013, the project took 2 years with Contemporary Architecture being involved in all stages of the design, documentation and contract administration. The builder for this project was Learmont Constructions.
