LINDFIELD HOUSE 1

Alterations and additions to an existing home in Lindfield, with approval as a Complying Development.

The project was completed in a structured renovation which allowed the clients to live in the house during the renovation. During this process, a new master suite was constructed along with; a new open plan, living, kitchen, and dining space which transitions seamlessly into a new pool and rear garden.

The new restoration maintains the form of the existing house with a clear break between old and new. The clean lines of the modern addition allow more contemporary styles to exist harmoniously with the original 1920’s bungalow. The existing space was renovated to house family bedrooms and a bathroom. The new addition uses cedar cladding to envelop high ceilings dotted with skylights and a new master suite and study

Compliance was a Complying Development.

Contemporary Architecture was involved in the Sketch Design process and assisted with the approval.
